I have read many of the posts regarding the relationship blogger. I have to wonder what it is PNN is looking for; someone to give advice, to create interest, to tell their story? There are many ways to approach this 'interview'. I am hoping that they are looking for someone that will bring relationship thoughts, stories and foibles to the group - someone that will spark constructive thinking for those that are in need of help and offer funny anecdotes and stories for those simply surfing the net looking for something fun to read.
I will continue to read and reply to the 'relationship bloggers' and hope that PNN will see what they are looking for in someone that has many relationships. I have spent the last year studying friendships and am currently writing a book about nine women that have been friends for thirty plus years. I know this doesn't make me an expert - but I am one of the nine and I have learned many things during my research - things I would like to be able to share with a women's network such as PNN. Keep lookig for me -- I'll be writing. If there's anything specific you are wanting to read about -- let me know and I'll see what I can do! Enjoy!
When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate now knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.
